A bit on the pricey side. However, you are paying for art on a plate. The sign says the restaurant name means the daily bread in French. If this where your daily bread you would have an elegant life indeed! I understand there are several restaurants in a local chain around Washington DC by the same name. I enjoy my time here. Great location and great customer service. The lady on the counter is always friendly to me. No five star because they don't have hot Chai which I still ask for everytime I'm there. Good place for coffee and meeting people. Decent selection of snacks too.
Best waffle I had ever in life !!! Crispy on the outside with freshly chopped strawberry and with perfect amount of sweetness , made my day . Definitely going again there
I absolutely love this place! The sunny side bowl was incredibly delicious!
The restaurant is somewhat expensive, but you're truly paying for culinary artistry. The sign states that the restaurant's name translates to "daily bread" in French, and if this were your daily bread, you'd be living quite elegantly! I know there are several locations of this restaurant chain in the Washington DC area, but this is my first experience here. I enjoyed the gazpacho, and I've come around to the concept of open-faced sandwiches, particularly the Belgian tartine. I used to think open-faced sandwiches were pointless, but today changed my perspective.
Absolutely fantastic food, excellent coffee, amazing staff, and the BEST gluten-free bread you'll ever taste!
