Franklin Grill - Washington

The breakfast sandwiches are quite good, as are the deli sandwiches and baked items. However, the experience was overshadowed by the fact that even though I was in line first, I ended up waiting longer. The chef started taking the order of the person behind me because they were speaking Spanish. I believe my money should be treated with the same respect, but it felt clear that it didn't carry the same weight. (This review pertains to the North Capital location.)

Located near the Hall of States and just a short walk from Union Station, this restaurant offers a diverse and expertly crafted menu.

The breakfast portions are generous and quite enjoyable. This place has really established itself as a solid option in DC! I’ll definitely return when I’m in this part of town again.

I ordered the New York strip steak, and it was cooked to a perfect medium-rare. The steak was juicy, flavorful, and incredibly tender. The sides were equally delightful, particularly the mashed potatoes and the creamed spinach.

A wonderful spot for wraps, sandwiches, and paninis. I had a delightful experience and really enjoyed everything. The cookies are great as well!
