I am always excited to discover a vegan restaurant with so many fantastic options. The chick'n tenders were delicious, especially when paired with a salad, and I even took some tofu "egg salad" home. I can't wait to return for the Buffalo chick'n wrap and try all the pastries. This place is truly a gem! The service was also very attentive. View all feedback.
What Mau FiveofSeven doesn't like about Fare Well:
Charming little place, but the prices feel quite high for the food offered. Restaurants like NuVegan, HipCityVeg, PLANTA Queen, and Beefsteak in DC have options that seem more reasonably priced. Perhaps I just haven't found the right dish here yet? View all feedback.
This place is unbelievable. The perogie are so good! The poutine was also shockingly great. Don’t miss the Chocolate Egg Cream (no real egg involved of course, it’s all vegan! .
Food was good. I had the blueberry pancakes. I loved the baklava cheese cake , but that chocolate chip cookie was THE BEST THING EVER CREATED!! I couldn't believe how soft it was to be vegan. I'll definitely stop by and get a cookie every time I'm in the area. Looking forward to trying more things and coming back.
It was perfect! This place is a must try. All the food was great. The cake was a little dry. I think the cookies and cream cake would have been better than the cookie dough cake, so I’ll probably get that one next time.
Sticky Fingers on H St. Washington, DC. This was my first vegan food experience. No dairy, honey (bees are animals), meat/seafood, or eggs. The table ordered blue berry pancakes, biscuits (Seitan is the meat substitute), gravy, and I the French toast sticks. It was served with options of cinnamon butter, icing, and maple syrup. I sampled all of the meals, and they are great options for a non vegan. All were delicious. My favorite was the French toast sticks. They were cooked to a golden brown, a light crunch with the perfect touch of spices inside with a light sprinkle of powered sugar. I consumed them with the Maple syrup topping. All of the portions are large and sharable unless you're starving : . I shared two of my French toast sticks and regretted it later. They are about 1.5 in diameter, the length of a standard slice of bread. They were sooooo delicious. The Biscuits Gravy and French toast are only served on Saturday. Priced around $17.85 each. It's definitely worth the visit. The atmosphere is nice, and seating is reasonably accommodated with bar stools, tables, and booths. We waited about 8 minutes for a seat, as did the customers behind us. They have seating outside as well. Apology for no pics. I didn't plan on writing a review, but I thought it was worth sharing the experience.
Excellent fully vegan dining!!! Perfect combination of “healthy” and American foods using vegan substitutions. I would recommend to all Vegans living and visiting DC.
