Another outstanding experience with this fabulous team! Everything is running smoothly in the kitchen, and the staff is back in full force, as if the pandemic never happened. If you’re looking for a warm welcome at the door, quick service at your table, delicious and nutritious meals, and fresh fries, all complemented by an excellent selection of wines curated by their general manager, Sylvain, topped off with a fant... What User doesn't like about Et Voila:
Our experience at Etvoila was disappointing. The mussels I ordered were quite tough, and the sauce on my partner's pasta lacked flavor. On a positive note, the Belgian endive salad was delicious, and our desserts were very good. View all feedback.
An excellent takeout experience, from pickup to the dessert!! Everything was outstanding. We were celebrating a birthday/belated Mothers Day, and it was perfect. We had the cheese platter/gougeres as a starter over drinks, then the endive salad as a first course and salmon w/lentils as the main, finishing with the floating island. Everything was excellent. And as an aside, I love how they offer family style options for four. I have never understood why more places don't have this option. It's hugely annoying to have so many plastic containers. Et Voila packaged each course in large foil trays, with sauces and dressings in separate smaller containers, making serving easier (and better for the environment too). Highly recommend if you're looking for a dinner party meal!!
Great food and exceptional service. Ample portions. Minor modifications easily made by staff
Three cheers for Et Voila! I booked a table for ten and flagged that five of us were children under 10. They seated us in a back room where we had space to ourselves and wouldn't bother other customers, which was perfect. Alex, our server, was gracious, patient with our questions, and spot on with her recommendations. The wine and food were delicious--mussels, steak, duck, and branzino were all winners. We had the best evening reuniting with dear friends we hadn't seen since before the pandemic, and Et Voila offered the perfect venue with lovely service for the occasion.
We had the most amazing meal here while visiting friends in the City. The menu is exciting, the food is exceptional, and the service was good. We had a French waiter who was typically Frency and not particularly helpful or open to providing suggestions. That is a bit rough for a foodie who likes to try everybody's favorite at a new restaurant, but more so when you are trying to choose a wine from a place you have never been to 3,000 miles from where you live in another wine country. This would have been a 5 if our waiter had been able to muster the spirit to be helpful. Did not ruin the experience as we live in San Francisco and are accustomed to ambivalent service.
Perfect Christmas Day lunch! Steamy, warm French Bread and a nice pat of butter were set on our table very promptly, and our water glasses were never empty. I got the Flemish Beef Stew, with Brussel Sprouts, and the server recommended an excellent IPA to go with it absolutely delicious! The beef was so tender and stew flavored perfectly! My friend got the steak frites which were done to perfection and a glass of wine. The fries were amazing! Cozy ambience. Service was exactly what you hope for attentive but not intruding. I look forward to going back again soon!
