I was in Town for a short while and wanted some BBQ this place did NOT disappoint...Smoke wings, were tender on the inside, had a crispy seasoned outside that kept you wanting more..Brisket: perfectly cut and juicy, with semi charred outside to complete the whole meat-gasm that enjoyed afterwards...Vibe: the music here speaks fun, and the service is quick... Don't think just do GREAT BBQ View all feedback.
What Brad M doesn't like about Dcity Smokehouse:
I was in town for work and decided to order delivery from here based off of the reviews. The sides were definitely the highlights I had the Mac and cheese and spiced fries and they were both fantastic. The drop to 3 stars came from the brisket. I was so excited to get it based off the reviews and it was so dry and forgettable that it was a huge disappointment. Maybe it was an off night or the brisket is just their la... View all feedback.

As a self proclaimed connoisseur of BBQ, Dcity has the best brisket barbecue in Washington DC. I highly recommend this place to anyone that wants amazing brisket with a great atmosphere. Half smokes were awesome as well and my wife’s favorite.
Was disappointed today bought 2 brisket sandwiches an 3 fries greens and brisket and rib tips brisket, and rib was very hard dry some rubbery like it was old food I buy here often love the brisket but it always fresh an tender . Never experienced this .. I spend $86 and for the record I called the store back to be told that manager wasn’t in he be in at 4:30 then called 4:45 and was told he didn’t come in and next day as well was told the same thing he be in at 4:30 called back at 5 and he wasn’t in as well like I was being avoided.. and I was never told there was 2 different briskets on the sighs I ask for briskets and always was perfect until I went this pacific day this was a waste of my money .. this meat was not fresh old hard rubbery and dry …
Disappointed for real for real! My brisket wasn’t seasoned and tasted more like bland roast beef. The rib tips tasted like gasoline and maybe a day old. I can’t finish them. The spicy sausage sandwich was ok. Mission bbq in Detroit/Troy has wayyy better brisket!
This place is difficult to figure out. We got food on a Saturday (the order was missing the brisket....which was paid for and in the receipt). The macaroni and cheese is NOT your traditional Mac and cheese. It looked more like the pasta from a pasta salad. The baked beans were good. I think that I expected more from the ribs. Like, most places have their own recipes or rubs, but this seemed rather plain to me.The difficult part: when are they open? We drove by on a Sunday and they were closed. My wife drove by them the next day (Monday), and they were closed. Now, this is the newest location in Southeast and from what I was able to gather, they should have been open. There's no parking lot, only street parking on Good Hope Rd or the side street. I won't tell you NOT to go, but good luck. Maybe you'll catch them when they're open!
