My favorite Greek restaurant in DC! The food is consistently fresh and served hot. The pitas are generously filled with crispy, well-seasoned fries. The meat is cooked to perfection, and the pita is fluffy without being too soggy. This is my go-to place for lunch in the area. Outdoor seating is limited due to the small space, but definitely take advantage if you find a free table. View all feedback.
This place would easily be 5 stars if they prioritized dine-in customers a bit more: when we got there, there wasn't anyone seated, but it still took 30 minutes for us to get our food because they were so busy with to go orders. We each ordered platters and oh my gosh it was so much DELICIOUS food!
Souvlaki is a great place for a delicious and quick bite!! It is a fast food place, but the decor inside makes it seem a bit fancier. They also offer a fun selection of Greek drinks! However, you must purchase water if you want it.
Really loved the food at Souvlaki. I was attending a conference at Washington Hilton and this was a close walk nearby. The fries tasted great and were plentiful. Highly recommend.
The haters don’t know what they’re talking about. My partner and I order delivery from here once every two weeks. It’s one of my favorite restaurants in DC. I always get the make your own platter with lamb, rice pilaf, and the cucumber tomato salad. Never disappoints. Portions are a bit small for the price BUT it’s worth it for the quality of the food. You can tell the tzatziki sauce is homemade. The baklava is amazing. You can tell all the food is fresh and prepared by someone who knows what they’re doing. We LOVE Souvlaki!!
I'll be short here. All around good food. Real good. I ordered the souvlaki platter. Delicious. Salad was well constructed and the dressing with delicious. Three Mediterranean Fries are yummy. Clean place. Nice service. Really good food. Not expensive relative to other prices in DC.
