We met with friends there to celebrate my 60th birthdayWe started with excellent bottles of wine and delicious bruschetta. Yum! It was followed with the Dodici salad which didn’t disappoint! Alexio was a wonderful waiter and was very attentive! Many of us had the chicken roulade, a signature dish that was terrific with gnocchi and asparagus. I topped off the evening with creme brûlée that melted in my mouth! They also brought out a special plate with Happy Birthday written in Italian along with a chocolate in a gift box. They know how to make a girl feel specialThe owner, Lorraine, also came by to speak to us about the history of the restaurant, her time spent in Italy, as well as checking on the quality and service we were receiving during our evening. What a wonderful gem to have in Washington, Iowa! We will definitely be back!! We were supposed to go into Chicago to celebrate my birthday, but my birthday spent at Dodici’s was just as delightful!

Sandr... read more We're from Michigan and came into town to celebrate our nephew getting married. They were able to accommodate our small party last minute with no problem. Sandra was our server and was absolutely amazing. Her knowledge of the menu was on point and she helped us pick out some amazing foods. We brought in our own cakes and Sandra took them to the kitchen and served each slice with a flower. She went the extra mile to make that day so special for our nephew and his wife. We appreciated all the small things she did. Will definitely be back when we're in town. Thanks Sandra for everything!!!!
