Walked in for takeout earlier this week. The woman who helped me was very patient, letting me go through all of the ingredients. It tasted very fresh and was so tasty. Will be back again! View all feedback.
What Mike K doesn't like about Buredo:
Super cool guy working the counter. Very friendly and chatty. Unfortunately the food was AWFUL! He used pieces of nori that had been pre-riced and was soft and chewy. Not fresh! The toppings were good but when he added the tuna, he scooped it up along with a whole lot of juice. It made the entire burrito wet, soggy and nasty. The tuna was very unflavorful and was probably lower grade....def not sushi grade. My friend... View all feedback.
Don’t listen to any of the bad/weird reviews. My bff and I went today again and it was amazinggggg and the guy that works there is super friendly!!
I had never had a sushi burrito before, and I was excited when I stumbled upon this place right outside the McPherson Square train station. The best word to describe Buredo is chill. It has a small interior that is cozy and welcoming. The guy who rolled my sushi burrito in front of me was insanely nice. It's just a nice spot that you feel is familiar, even if it is your first time. I tried: Pretty Riki: if you like beets, this is the one to get Gogo: yummy combination of spicy mayo and avocado, with some crunchy bits I enjoyed my experience at Buredo, and when I'm craving a sushi burrito again, that is the place. Oh yes, another thing to know is the majority of the menu has fish in it. However, you can sub tofu into anything that doesn't already have it.
On balance really good experience. Good food, solid portion sizes, really decent fresh fish. My only frustration came with the rice, which I felt was a bit soggy.

The fish tasted like it was grilled last week and sitting under a heat lamp for 4-5 days. Dry, tough and tasteless. Overall completely dissatisfied.
