My friend and I decided to visit dc again and because of boveda, our trip has much more fun. we loved how nice and friendly the manager and the waiter were assigned to us. our reservation was on and our table was ready to go. we stayed even until closing times because it felt easy to sit there and have one of the best margarita drinks we had. we enjoyed it so much that we came back the next night. the manager allowed us to sit on the same stand and even offered us to try a new sangria he had made and it was just another delicious drink! we visit boveda on our next trip and plan to bring more people with us!

When we arrived in boveda, they told us we had no reservations, although I showed them the open confirmation. the restaurant was empty and the waiter told us that we only have one place. we sat down that he didn't offer an apology and the restaurant didn't seem to fit well so we left. my man and I never went out of a restaurant, but boveda just didn't feel like a good culinary experience.

When we arrived at Boveda they told us we had no reservations even though I showed them the opentable confirmation. The restaurant was empty and the waiter told us to just have a seat. We sat down he offered no apology and the restaurant didn't seemed like a good fit so we left. My husband and I have never walked out of a restaurant but Boveda just didn't feel like a good dining experience.
