The Shanty - Warwick

We sat in the very rear to the left of the fireplace. Our seats were very hard and cold. We are guests in our eighties and really need more comfortable seats. Is the any way when making a reservation to avoid this spot ?? We have been to the Shanty many times and never were otherwise disappointed.

We loved mostly everything! We got the yam fries which were excellent. I got the lobster roll which was ok but not the best. We also got the breakfast burrito which he loved and we shared the French toast which was delicious! Definitely want to go back!

I ordered the fish and chips. Looked awesome. However the fish was undercooked and the batter surrounding the fish was raw. I never send food back. But my date insisted on speaking up on my behalf. The waitress was very apologetic and removed it from the bill.

We love coming to the Shanty. It’s hard to describe whether it’s a gastro-pub or a fun casual dining spot with an eclectic menu. But the food is always very good, great drinks and wonderful service. Our meals were great, served on time and for a good price.

This was my first dining experience at The Shanty. I met my dining companion for brunch. I ordered Eggs Benedict with spinach and tomato. My dish was cold. My home fries were unseasoned. My dining companion's Breakfast Burger was also cold. She felt that her home fries were undercooked and asked for them to be cooked longer. Overall, we didn't appreciate being served cold food. We will not be returning for brunch.
