We were attending a gig opposite at the assembly and thought this would be a good place to eat. We had plenty of time and didn’t need to rush , or so we thought !!! The service was awful , had to wait an eternity for drinks and order our food. There were plenty of staff but obviously not attentive enough. We ordered a starter to cone with the main but this was served as a starter. My wife was served her main and I had to edit for mine , and wait and wait and wait!!!! In the end I had to call the waiter over and it appeared that my order had been lost!!! My wife had almost finished her meal by the time mine came. I was not offered an apology or complementary drink or anything. I was then offered someone else’s food!!!! When my pizza arrived it was not thin crust as I had ordered. The food was adequate and no more and certainly not value for money. I did complain but was not offered any complementary drinks or anything, just given lame excuses. We observed a lot of traffic from food delivery staff in and out . It seems that they can’t cope with serving customers and dealing with deliveries at the same time. The manager did come over at the end to apologise and said he would take 10 percent off the bill got our poor experience which was too little , too late for me Never again Shame it is a lovely little setting

Th... read more Upon entering the restaurant, I immediately noticed that it did not smell like typical food, which was a red flag for me. My experience was not great at all. The customer service was very poor and the food was tasteless. I waited 24 hours for the manager on duty to call me to discuss my experience, but I felt compelled to share my opinion publicly. The arancini was overcooked and had no saffron flavor or color. The fried calamari was served with sachets of tartar sauce, which was disappointing. The frutti di mare tasted so bland that I questioned if I was eating chicken, with a strong vinegar taste from pre-made vegetables in a pickled jar. The Piccolinos pasta with swordfish left a horrible taste in my mouth, dry as if it had been reheated in the microwave. The linguini with seafood was also tasteless, lacking any wine flavor. I was not asked how the food was, which concerned me, even when I asked for the bill and left the main dishes on the table. As a Sicilian, I take pride in our food and service, but unfortunately, this restaurant did not meet my expectations. I paid the full bill out of courtesy, even though I shouldn't have. I requested to speak with a manager but was told no one was available. I left my contact information on a note, but it seemed that they did not care. I would recommend choosing a different restaurant.
