Was Jana Wahl at DomschÄnke Stammhaus Der Warsteiner Brauerei a mag?
Here is where the Warstein brewery started and the house offers a museum like insight into (old) brewing implements, with a restaurant and a bar. The food is solid and local and it hits the right spot. View all feedback.

We had a lovely experience, arrived late on a fridaynight but had no problem getting seated. The lady serving our food was really lovely and forthcoming, helpfull in advising wath to eat. Of course the beer was great, so near the source of the origibal...brewery. The history of the building is amazing as well and the atmosphere is both classy as classic, real German/ Sauerland-like. You get to go back in time here and still feel very comfortable. I had the liver Berliner art, which was well prepared and my spouse had pork in ham with a lovely beer gravy. If you have a hearty appetite, this is the place to be! (but also a romantic dinner for two is among the possibilities, we were pleasantly surprised) Prices were very reasonable.

Domschaenke is a lovely restaurant at Dieplohstrasse in the center of Warstein right next to the brewery administration headquarters. Around the end of the century the house was brewery and family home of Warsteiner's owner family. The restaurant has kept this traditional interior feeling,...showcasing historic views of the town and traditional brewing equipment. Food is great with plenty of options to choose from and of course plenty beer choices are available. Bring some time to enjoy the athmosphere, German restaurants are generally not too quick (but on the good side also not as pushy to get you out again). If you are looking for a quicker option go around the corner to Sudhaus in the same building where you can sit outside (e.g. under the old copper kettle top) or inside this brewpub, more limited food choice there incl. great burgers.

Domschaenke is a beautiful restaurant in Dieplohstraße in the centre of Warstein right next to the brewery administration. At the end of the 19th century The house was brewery and family house of the Warsteiner's family. The restaurant has this traditional inner feeling, a historical view of the city and traditional brewing equipment. Food is great with many options to choose from and of course there are many beer choices. Take some time to enjoy the atmosphere, German restaurants are usually not too fast (but on the good side not so urgent to get you out again). If you are looking for a faster option go around the corner to brewhouse in the same building where you can sit outside (e.g. under the old copper boiler plate) or within this Braupub, more restricted food choice there incl. great burgers.
