We would have had to wait another hou... read more We had reserved a table for dinner at the Montgolfiade. After 45 minutes, and after repeated requests, the drinks arrived. We would have had to wait another hour and a half for dinner, so we decided not to. Finally, we even paid for drinks we didn't even have. The staff was very helpful but hopelessly overwhelmed, as they were completely understaffed. This was very poor preparation, as the rush of visitors certainly wasn't surprising.

We waited 1.5 hours for the food, although it tasted good, but the price/performance ratio was completely out of line. The staff were completely overworked, and the manager was unsympathetic or unaccommodating when it came to our complaints. It's a good thing I'm not from Warstein and don't have to go there again. Sorry, but there's still a lot to learn about large events.

The food tasted great, and the... read more Well, it was a Montgolfiade, the service staff were top-notch, hopefully their work is rewarded accordingly, it was really great. The food tasted great, and the wait time was appropriate for a Montgolfiade and couldn't be changed. But the value for money was absolutely terrible. The loaded fries came with exactly 3!! pieces of currywurst for 10 euros. The waitress went to the kitchen to ask before ordering, and it was supposed to include 3/4 of a sausage. My son had fried potatoes with his schnitzel for 5.90 euros, which was half a small coffee cup full. Pathetic. The important thing is that the boss stands firm and doesn't want to put up with the complaints from the next table. We'll see how long this lasts.
