What Red9uk doesn't like about The Charcoal Kebab House:
The kebab from this restaurant in Warrington was definitely the worst I have ever had, and the value was terrible. I paid £14 for a lofted and some kebab meat and salad, but the portions were too small for the price. The lamb kofte was tiny and poor quality, and the sliced dinner meat was also thin and not great quality. The salad was basic but decent. The server was friendly, but it was clear that they chose to cut... View all feedback.
I have been a loyal customer of this kebab house for many years and have always given it a high rating. However, in the last couple of weeks, the quality of the food and prices have significantly declined. I was quoted one price over the phone, but when I arrived, I was charged a different amount, which is unacceptable. When I called to inquire about this discrepancy, I was told that they don't have to disclose the actual price, which I found to be disgusting and very unprofessional. I will definitely not be returning to this establishment, as it is clear that they do not prioritize customer service.
My partner and I went to the restaurant last night after watching the rugby game. I ordered 2 pieces of chicken and chips, and my partner ordered a cheeseburger. Both meals were presented to us in under 2 minutes, which was not a good thing because the burger was raw and the chicken was completely frozen. When I brought this to the attention of the server, he apologized and offered to replace the meals. I declined and asked for a refund. Fast food is one thing, but serving frozen chicken is unacceptable.
Don’t think I’ve ever been so angry about food. Small chicken kebab consisting of FOUR tiny pieces of chicken, some chopped up onion some cabbage and lettuce in a pitta bread £7.50??? FOUR pieces of chicken?! Your profit margins must be about 90%, I’ve never felt so insulted, this place used to be good. There’s a cost of living crisis, you keep serving shoddy food like that you won’t be around for long
