Despite a bit of a wait for our... read more After traveling across Cheshire to visit some local gardens, we stumbled upon this farm shop cafe that was anything but average. Despite a bit of a wait for our food, we were not disappointed with the fantastic coffee and delicious meals that greeted us. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and though there were a few missing items in our order, the food was still tasty. One member of our group found the Hollins Rarebit a bit too sweet for their liking, but there was plenty of it to enjoy. We also had to make a stop at the shop to purchase the biscuits that came with our coffee.

Food is always consistent but the added bonus are the ladies serving. They are delightful and nothing is too much trouble.

At 8.30am it was not very busy and the staff w... read more After feeling the service was a bit slow on our last visit we did,however, return and normal service was resumed. At 8.30am it was not very busy and the staff were friendly (as always) and attentive. We had a breakfast wrap, bacon sandwich (treacle bacon always delicious), poached eggs on toast, and a toasted teacake plus hot drinks and an orange juice (juicer for fresh broken but not a problem). The wrap and bacon sandwich were enhanced by mushrooms and half a tomato and the toasted teacake got the full berries and fruit coulis zigzag which was novel.All delicious, comfortable and friendly.
