Nice spacious pub with outside seating and a play area for the kids. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed a fish and chips for her and a cheese pie for me, with a pint of Guinness and a glass of wine. Everything on our plates was hot as it should be, with cold drinks going down extremely well. Helpful staff. Yes, we will go back again soon. Recommended View all feedback.
What Erika klüh doesn't like about The George Dragon:
Horrendous establishment. Everything was dirty and unhygienic including glasses, table wear and the floor surround our table. Mouse found inside play area also a foul smell in the wacky warehouse area. DO NOT VISIT!!!!!! Managers were rude and unapologetic. Had to request a sweeping brush and cloth to clean our area before me and my child ate. Hardly touched our food due to quality left. TERRIBLE!!!!!! View all feedback.
The ‘family’ orientated pub in which holds a child’s play area, doesn’t allow prams inside with sleeping babies. The ‘manager’ is very arrogant and stood with her arms folded and scowling at me when I asked for an email to complain she told me my dads the owner and smirked in my face. Definitely won’t be returning. The food was awful and no service with a smile. All staff look miserable, but is it any wonder with a boss like that!

Went to the playarea yesterday, siobhan was fantastic, my little girl was crying and she came over to check if she was ok, above and beyond what you expect.
I have been here a few times with my family which includes a young baby, everytime I have had to remove from pram and wake up even when she was a few weeks old as your not allowed to take prams into the play centre which I think is ridiculous! Bear in mind every single time there has been no more than 2 other tables in. The staff who work the play centre till are always miserable like they’ve been forced to be there. You can’t eat food in there like you can at every single other one which is a pain. It’s a shame because the actual soft play is decent. Really let’s it down !
My wife and I visited the restaurant on a Saturday evening. We ate superb rump steaks presented by an excellent friendly and efficient service. I thoroughly recommend.
