Me and my boyfriend visited for the second time in a week for the weeping dragon and the Kamakazee curry. As two keen spice enthusiasts we were hoping for an experience of fire and fury and were not disappointed. I want to drink their Kamakazee...curry sauce and I think my boyfriend may be a weeping dragon at the end of this evening as a result of his spicy tea. Either way we will likely be back very soon for more... View all feedback.
What Lily Chapman doesn't like about Birch And Bottle:
Stopped for a takeaway on the way home. Great service from the Bar staff. Fishcakes authentic and delicious. Vietnamese prawn crackers not great. A little stale. Chang Noi Curry, chose the Pork. Sauce absolutely delicious. Seriously lacking in Pork which is annoying more than anything....Flavours are there but can’t help feel ripped off when hardly any Pork in there. £17 with a Pint whilst I waited. Be well worth it... We took us from here to birthday. the cost of main meal is not too bad at around £7–8 per head. I really enjoyed my vegetable cashmere curry, the cost for a dish is the same, regardless of whether they have meat or sweet. However, we noticed when our meals arrived that our vegetarian dishes were larger than the meat-based. the aromen were really beautiful, but my man was disappointed by his great. for £4.80 they get 4 tiny spring rolls (the really small ones they could get a buffet) and for £6 a small plastic bag of mini ribs. the type they receive as a party food that is about the size of a finger. the Thai krugs were nice, but the chili sauce that came with them was not really like a sauce. it was very watery. for luck I had bought a business sweet chili that we used instead. we had ordered a fried rice as my man doesn't really like a pure boiled rice, but that seemed to be forgotten and instead we only got boiled rice. If I were to buy from here again, I would give the starters a miss, and just go with a main meal.
This restaurant is a cozy venue that retains the charm of its former life as a pub. The old pub vibe is still present, giving it a great modern twist. Now, it serves delicious Asian fusion dishes that are perfectly cooked and generously portioned at a fair price. Whether you dine in or get a takeaway, you won't be disappointed. What are you waiting for?
We've been driving back a thousand times from warrington, so we decided to call. it was a lot of space visible in social distancing. we both had the prawn starter that were just ok, then we had the pad thai that was...great would definitely recommend.
We had a delightful dinner tonight with all our friends and family, and we will definitely be back again very soon!
The food at this restaurant is fantastic, made with high-quality ingredients. The vegetable dishes are fresh and crunchy, and the meats and fish are absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it.
