King's Chef Buffet - Warrensburg

I don’t know how this place got the reviews it did. For the $14 cost do yourself a favor go some place where you can get good Chinese. To me it seems like it’s all coming from a big bucket or a bag and reheated. I was very happy to see the sushi bar but what I had was all dry on top and warm. I don’t eat that kind of sushi. I’m a healthy eater but I could not eat this. Certainly won’t twice. Two starts as the place was clean and the people nice.

Worst place in burg. Literally terrible. The food is ok at best and the service is at an all time low. They literally treat you like garbage. They rush you out and when we paid for our checks the waitress came up to us with a knife in her hand and said: what’re you Leaving for tip? And asked us repeatedly until we said we were leaving. It made us very uncomfortable and I say adamantly I will never come to this horrible place again.

They will over charge your card and come up with an excuse. They are theives and if you look up there health violation you would be disgusted.

The food was okay… Not to a kings standards or let alone mine… It was ridiculously expensive and we waited almost 7 minutes just to be seated.

Still great food and service! George has his recipes and the chefs stick to them for excellent texture and flavor! Also check out his other restaurant in Blue Springs, MO, Legends of Asia! They also have hibachi! Food is always great and a great selection!
