Contribute FeedbackStopped in to Long John Silvers this afternoon in the drive thru. No one answered the call box. Even after honking and calling for service repeatedly. Drove up to the window, no one at the helm. Saw a patron inside, so parked and went inside. Found 2 employee in the dining room, heads down over their smartphones. Asked the young woman wearing a headset if they were open. Without making eye contact, she said, “Yeah” as she continued to interact with her device. Eventually she got up, walked behind the counter (with an attitude of annoyance), sighed and said, “You want to order?” Nope, not anymore. Told her it didn’t seem like she was interested in doing her job and left. Not likely to return. We know it’s hard to find good help. And if you own a franchise and you’re not paying attention, you’re gonna go out of business. This business model is unsustainable.
Took 20 minutes in the drive through. Then the lady tossed the bags at me when she brought the food out.
