Food was decent, about as much as you expect from a gas station diner. Not bad, but not anything to write home about. Service was fine. Nothing to complain about. Silverware was those really cheap, too-thin ones that hurt your hands to hold too hard. View all feedback. What Ash Earlz likes about Down Home Diner:
Great chicken fried steak and gravy. Homestyle fries etc. kinda like a blast to the past for me. Haven’t seen a diner attached to a gas station like this since I was back in Oklahoma. Chill people too. View all feedback.

Violet was a wonderful server! Oh course, I had to get a country fried steak. We enjoyed our meal here. Cozy place. Large menu of comfort foods.
