Very good quality. New bar has a great atmosphere. Only complaint is my pasta was a bit dry missing enough sauce. When I asked for a little more, I was told that there would be a charge. Really? This was surprising for a high quality Italian restaurant. View all feedback.
What Jim Herman doesn't like about Salvatore's Italian Grill:
3 of us ordered on Sunday evening. Drove 5 miles to pickup and returned home only to find out a sandwich was missing. Called them and she was nonchalant and offered apology and asked if I wanted to come back to get it. I told her no, I wasn’t driving 10 miles for their mistake. Then offered a free sandwich (which I’d already paid for) and a dessert but needed to be used within 2 weeks. Obviously I’m not interested in going in to spend more for their inability to fill an order correctly. Told her to credit my card back!!!! Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: 10–20 Food: 3 Service: 1.
My group of 4 came to this restaurant for dinner on a Saturday night and we were seated immediately. However, it did take about 15-20 minutes for a server to come over and check on us. The prices on the menu were reasonable, the portions were generous, and we were served two types of bread with our soup or salad. The Florentine dish was outstanding and we will definitely be returning just for that.
Reliability is key at this family-owned restaurant. You can consistently expect a delicious meal, great service, and affordable prices. I highly recommend dining here.
The white wines offered at this restaurant are fantastic, especially the Chardonnay! The fettuccine Alfredo and spinach ravioli were delicious. The only letdown was the bread, which tasted like cold leftover pizza without cheese and the garlic rolls were dry. However, the portion sizes were generous so I didn't miss the bread much. I would definitely return to this restaurant!
We met our friends around 6:30 7/23/22 so we had a table of 4. Our waitress was very good and everyone ordered something different and everyone liked their food from lasagna, crab/shrimp Alfredo, Rockefeller and veal Marsala everyone agreed their food was really good I highly recommend this restaurant and was surprised that it wasn’t busier than it was.
We were greeted by a friendly staff. We were seated quickly for a Friday night. Seating at the table was comfortable but the floor was slippery I’m not sure if it’s built up grease or a cleaning agent. The restaurant appeared to be clean. We were given cold pizza bread and regular rolls that were also cold. It could be really good if they would heat it before serving. The salads were small and very leafy I would have preferred iceberg since the salad was filled with leaves. They were also out of sweet sour dressing. We ordered traditional pasta with meat sauce and the Lasagna Classico. They charged an additional $2.50 for the meat sauce for the traditional pasta which barely existed. You can see in the photo the meat sauce may as well have been non existent. The flavor was decent and cooked Al dente I would ask them to cook the pasta longer if I return. The Lasagna was good and plenty of cheese. Our dining was definitely not worth the $40 that we paid for the evening. Still looking for that amazing local Italian restaurant!
