Instead, I opted for t... read more My first visit to WR Cafe was quite impressive! I went there to try the pork chops, but unfortunately, they had already sold out quickly. Instead, I opted for the 2-piece Whiting combo. The fish was excellent, although I found the fries could have been cooked a little longer to achieve a crispier texture. Overall, the meal was very enjoyable. The gizzards were good as well (I prefer mine cooked a bit longer), but I recommend eating them on-site as they don't hold up well during transportation. We will definitely be back; the prices are very reasonable for such delicious food! The Hot Honey wings were a big hit too!

If there's ever a problem, the manager and owner are always willing to address it, as long as you follow their guidance. I've never encountered a serious issue that couldn't be resolved.

My party entered the restaurant as soon as it opened but there was no one present to seat us or take our order. We waited 36 minutes to be served until the cook from the back came out and apologized that there was no one to take our order since the cashier was late. It would be prudent for the owner to have a contingency for late personnel (maybe train the people working in the back on the basics of working the register). It's a shame because I had heard good things about the wings here. Maybe I'll try again in the future.
