Fried Green Tomatoes! Umm yes, please! The price for Sunday afternoon dinner was perfect. They served sweet potato souffle (I didn't like it) , cream corn, turnip greens I hear were great (I only eat collards) meatloaf (better than the day prior lunch that was twice as much) London broil (cooked a little too long), fried chicken, mashed potatoes, salad bar. All very good. The best part was perfectly sliced fried gree... View all feedback.
What Adriele Serrano doesn't like about The Bulloch House:
The food was decent, primarily fried dishes. There was a salad bar as well. It was really crowded on the day we visited, making it hard to get a good look at the place. The food was adequate, but there wasn't much else to do in the area. It felt very much like eating with the locals. Since we’re from Florida, it was nice to try some local fare, but I doubt we’d go back. View all feedback.
Too bad the old house is burnt down, this new location is also very charming. The food is just not as good as before. I went Saturday before the lab day, and they didn't have much of a spread. The food we got was pretty good, but it wasn't like before. The desert is exactly the same! I had the pancake and my little cousin had the chocolate seven-layered cake. Both were good!
The Bulloch House is a Warm Springs tradition. The historic structure is beautiful, which is what attracted me. I'm not really a fan of buffets and it was a Saturday at lunch and that means buffet time at the Bulloch House. I knew that, though, so I mainly went to check out the location since I hadn't been since fire destroyed their previous home several years back. If buffets are your thing, you will love it.
Great value, wonderful desserts! A more limited menu than most southern buffet style places, but it makes up for it in quality! Delicious fried chicken, wonderful southern style green beans, smooth and creamy mashed potatoes! Try the lemon meringue pie! I'm sad I hadn't given this place a shot before!
Little get away for our anniversary! We stopped off at this cute restaurant in town. Our dinner was amazing and the Mac and cheese was out of this world. When leaving we bought a piece of cake and some homemade jam! My husband of course had the cake in hand, but I forgot to grab the bag of jam. Was so thankful when I stopped the next night they had the bag behind the counter with my name! So thoughtful and thankful such kind people to take the time to look up my name off the credit card slip.
