The wait staff were very friendly, and the wait time for food and coffee was brief. The portion sizes were great for the price, and I appreciated that they offered almond and soy milk. They had a few vegan options, which were not only amazing but also delicious! It was a bit breezy since we were in a wind funnel, but they provided adorable blankets for us to use outside. Overall, it was a lovely and peaceful spot. I would definitely return!
This charming little café is perfectly located in the heart of the city, featuring outdoor seating on a balcony that offers a lovely view of the nearby river and walkway—an ideal spot for relaxation. The coffee is excellent; we enjoyed it so much that we returned twice during our visit. They also have a great variety of pastries and savory snacks. Additionally, their opening hours seem more accommodating than those of other cafés in the area.
I absolutely love the food at the Oaks, but what really stands out is the incredible team that works there. I often visit with my parents, and it always brings a smile to my face when we walk in and the staff greet us by name, even recalling our usual orders! I’d like to give a special shout-out to Clare for making the best dairy-free coconut hot chocolates.
Met the owners by chance during the Ww Markets they are establishing every Sunday in the Courtyard. Cosy Cafe with indoor/outdoor dining, very busy. Knew the coffee would be good as it's CB owned as a standalone business. The iced coffee was totally worth it. The menu is well thought out and varied. Seating COULD be an issue as their reputation grows. The Cafe is fairly small. Toilets not noted. Wheelchair access not a problem, child friendly. Young business that will do well. Will be going back.
