Subway - Wareham
Subway
Description
Located conveniently along a major highway, this Subway location has garnered a reputation for its friendly staff and generally good food. Customers appreciate the quick service, customization options, and a keen attention to detail, which enhances their dining experience. However, recent feedback indicates a rise in prices and occasional lapses in food quality, specifically stale bread and insufficient ingredients, casting a shadow over its previously unwavering reputation. While many have enjoyed their visits and return regularly, others have expressed disappointment, suggesting that inconsistencies in service and product quality need to be addressed to maintain customer loyalty.

The prices are becoming too high. As a frequent customer of this Subway location, it's usually my go-to spot, and I have no complaints about the subs or the staff—they're all great. However, the other day I paid nearly $10 for a footlong tuna, which seems excessive for what I'm getting. I just don’t understand it.
Excellent Subway location! The staff really pays attention to detail, and you can tell they genuinely care about both their business and their customers. One of the best things about Subway is that you can customize your sandwich exactly how you want it, and this location truly lives up to that expectation. For instance, due to Covid, customers aren't allowed to refill their own fountain drinks. However, the employee here took the time to put in some ice and then turned to ask me if I wanted more or less ice before pouring my soda. That's what I call outstanding customer service and a keen eye for detail. I've become a regular customer because they are consistently reliable!
The restaurant has a clean environment, friendly and prompt service. Their specialty is delicious sandwiches, which I really enjoy. Overall, I'm a fan!
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I ordered two servings of cinnamon bites, which cost me $8.50, but when I sat down to eat them, they were hard and inedible. I took them back to the counter to request a refund, and the employee was quite rude. Initially, he offered me $5, but I explained that I had spent over $8. In the end, he gave me $7 but refused to provide the remaining change. I didn’t consume any of the cinnamon bites and returned the entire order to him. The bread was hard and not fresh, although the place itself was fairly clean. I would much prefer to eat at the Subway in front of Stop and Shop, where the staff is nicer and more straightforward. At this restaurant, the portions are very stingy; I often end up with a sub filled mainly with bread and lettuce, with hardly any meat or cheese. It’s perplexing that I can order the same sub at both locations and find that this one offers significantly less. The attitudes of the staff here were off-putting; it seemed like all they cared about was money despite the low quality of the food. I suspect that many of the positive reviews are fake, as the negative ones reflect my experience accurately. After living in Wareham for four years, I find this Subway to be more convenient, yet I prefer to travel extra miles to the one by Stop and Shop for a better experience.
