Narrows Crossing - Wareham
Narrows Crossing
Description
Narrows Crossing offers a charming locale by the water, but customer experiences run the gamut from delightful to disappointing. While many patrons rave about the delicious seafood and hearty portions, like their standout lobster rolls and flavorful chowder, others express discontent regarding service and management. Specific incidents, particularly around Mother's Day, highlighted significant issues with staff availability and customer assistance. Despite some glowing reviews praising the pleasant ambience and friendly service, inconsistencies in food quality and management responsiveness raise concerns. Overall, this restaurant presents a friendly atmosphere but may require improvements to meet all diners’ expectations.

A local favorite! They serve a delightful breakfast, and the Sunday hash is made from prime rib leftovers from the previous night, making it truly incredible—if there's any left! There's also a cozy little bar area. The shepherd's pie special is outstanding, and their fish and chips are excellent! The staff is genuinely friendly, and by the end of your visit, you'll likely feel like part of the family. If you're fortunate, one of the bartenders might even pick up one of the guitars hanging on the wall and play a tune for you. Additionally, the restaurant boasts a lovely view of the bay right outside. It's conveniently located within walking distance of both the hospital and the dispensary.
I had dinner there tonight with friends, and it was an amazing experience! The food and drinks were outstanding, and both the bartender and our waitress were exceptional. Three of us ordered the baked stuffed haddock with scallops, which was enormous and packed with whole scallops. I opted for the lobster roll with hot drawn butter, and it was fantastic—I even had some leftovers to take home! I highly recommend this restaurant.
