While our waitress was pleasant, she was the only bright spot in an overall disappointing experience. It seemed like they weren’t putting in any effort to impress their customers. The potatoes were burnt and lacked flavor, and the bacon had a strange taste—definitely no frills here. I ordered the skillet, but what I received was just burnt potatoes topped with bacon and a single egg—nothing more. My dining companion chose the corned beef hash with eggs, which was clearly canned and also quite unimpressive. Overall, we were not satisfied with our experience at this restaurant, though perhaps this is the atmosphere they aim for.

We should have sent them back, but we... read more We ordered two servings of fried clams and a lobster roll with chowder. Unfortunately, the clams were overcooked and dry. We should have sent them back, but we didn't. When we mentioned this to the waitress, she admitted that they looked a bit dark when she served them. The chowder was tasty, but the lobster roll was only average—the lobster had a slightly mushy texture. We won't be coming back.

The food and drinks were outstanding, and both the bartender and our waitress were exceptional. Three of us ordered the baked stuffed haddock with scallops, which was enormous and packed with whole scallops. I opted for the lobster roll with hot drawn butter, and it was fantastic—I even had some leftovers to take home! I highly recommend this restaurant.
