As a delivery driver, I've dealt with my share of delays, missing food items, and communication issues, but I’ve never encountered such rudeness and unprofessionalism from an employee as I did recently. On October 21, when I arrived to pick up an order, it wasn't ready, so I waited about five minutes. When I realized an item was missing, I asked the employee to cancel it. She responded in a very loud and disrespectful manner, detailing what she would or wouldn’t do. At that moment, a young female employee shouted from the back, "DoorDash sucks," in front of customers dining in, and it was loud enough for the drive-thru to hear as well. I was only trying to cancel the fries from my order. This establishment clearly needs significant retraining on multiple levels, as this behavior does not reflect well on the company.
During my visit to this restaurant, I had a rather unsettling experience. While I was in the restroom, I observed a male employee who had just used the urinal and walked out without washing his hands. This behavior is troubling for anyone, but particularly alarming for someone who works with food. I hope a manager can address this issue with him.
The food was okay, but the service was terrible. At 1 PM, they refused to serve customers at the counter and insisted we order from a kiosk. The dining area was empty except for employees on break, while six people were waiting in line. If you want better food and service, head to the Taco Bell in Ludlow.
The service at Taco Bell is painfully slow, and the staff are far from welcoming. If you want to experience how cheaply a restaurant can cut corners on ingredients, Taco Bell's menu is a perfect example. You might receive a poorly assembled meal that barely fills your taco shell—if you're fortunate enough to get one at all. Being the only Taco Bell nearby is probably the only reason it remains open.
