My first experience at The Oak was a bit surprising as the only option available was pizza. It was unfortunate that there was no chef that night, but the pizzas turned out to be delicious. The staff was polite and accommodating, and the pub allowed dogs.
We had a fantastic Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The chicken was the best I've ever had when dining out. The service was great, the staff were pleasant, and the atmosphere was friendly, even though Spurs were losing!
This pub now serves Greek food. We visited on spur of moment tonight. Never been before. We absolutely loved it. Great warm atmosphere, super friendly greeting. Mouth watering menu. Amazing food. Great portions. Ate far too much!! Will definitely be back. What a find!!!!
Unfortunately, there were no cask ales on offer today. I opted for a refreshing pint of Peroni instead, although the price of £5.20 seemed a bit high.
The Oak is now serving Greek food as eat in or takeaway. Can't believe I'm the first person to comment on this as the food is lovely, we've only tried the lamb and chicken Gyros Greek Salad so can't comment on the rest of thefood though it was very tasty, filling and great value. Thanks and we'll be back to try more.
