What User doesn't like about Gloria Jean's Coffees Waratah Village:
Staff let a feral kid with filthy feet climb all over the counter. Bones in our chicken toastinis, a mud puddle looking and tasting coffee. Guy making coffee was flicking and touching his hair while making coffees/food. Pretty gross Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $20–40 View all feedback.
Would like to mention a young staff working today, Sofia. She was bright and full with energy with her customer service. I had the crème brûlée chiller and was really good. The other two girls were also really nice. It’s great to go whenever I’m in the area. Service: Take out Price per person: A$1–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The coffee at this spot can be a bit hit and miss, probably because they have different staff every time you pop in, which isn't ideal when making coffee which isn't a walk in the park or or it may be the type of beans they use who knows. Another issue is the lack of cleaning; it's off-putting to see those stained lounges that clearly need a good scrub. Their attempt at a fresh paint job doesn't fool anyone. On the bright side, the food is alright and doesn't break the bank. And those ice chocolate shakes? They're the bomb! Also, it's nice to hear that the owner is lovely and takes the time to greet customers when she's around. Have you discovered any other cool spots around that serve up good coffee or treats?
