Jones Beach Delicatessen - Wantagh

The food is fantastic! It's perfect for treating yourself on a Sunday or any day of the week! They'll definitely have my business on the weekends! The breakfasts are amazing—always a hit! The eggs are cooked perfectly, and the mozzarella sticks are delicious! I highly recommend trying the hangover special with turkey, bacon, and an extra egg. It's a must-try!

We usually order from Jones Beach Deli out of convenience, and DoorDash makes it easy to order from the deli, grab the order, and go. We have used DoorDash with the deli several times successfully. Today, I ordered two sandwiches for pick-up through DoorDash. When I arrived, the order wasn't ready, and I waited 30 minutes before I finally said something. The person I talked who worked there rudely blamed me for using DoorDash because it's more expensive. I explained that I used it to save time, but clearly that wasn't happening this time around. I don't understand why I was blamed for using a platform that the deli clearly elected to use, and has successfully used in the past. Our sandwiches were also poorly made and clearly rushed.

Asked for coffee very light with French vanilla creamer I got black coffee. Sandwich was fine.

The omelet I ordered was fantastic—fresh, hot, and hands down the best breakfast I've ever had delivered through DoorDash!

They served batter instead of cooked pancakes... enough said!
