The restaurant offers a gastropub-style menu with a focus on seasonal dishes and daily specials. The interior is charming, with a lovely fireplace creating a cozy atmosphere. The service is impeccable, with attentive staff and a warm welcome from the manager. The restaurant also boasts a delightful terrace for alfresco dining during the summer months. Overall, the Eyston Arms is highly recommended for those looking for quality food in a picturesque country setting.
Recently moved into the opposite and came on a bike tour through this pub. Since then in the last 3 weeks had been twice for Sunday dinner, I would classify this.
Came here with a group of 12 or so, called ahead to reserve. Although they were busy with a high-time reception, they had a private room.
I came with a group of around 25 people to Friday's-Pub-Lunch and could not be impressed anymore. I called earlier.
We met friends for Sunday lunch, it's half way between our home towns. Easy access from A34, in a lovely village and a proper country pub feel. Great food, cold beer and a warm welcome. Would definitely recommend
I had to ring up to say we were delayed slightly on our walk from the Ridgeway. The hosts were absolutely charming and thanked me for alerting them to the fact we still intended to get to lunch as booked. They didn't hurry us at all when we arrived even though it was near to closing for lunch. The service was so friendly and professional and the food was superb. Highly recommend the cold fine sliced beef and frangipane rhubarb tart. Lovely ambience in a beautiful village.
