We had made a reservation for five adults and two children, and we also ordered some dishes in advance, which turned out to be a great choice. Everything we tried was delicious! I particularly enjoyed the flounder—it was quite large, so we decided to share it. The portion sizes were generous. My dessert, the Doris plum pie, was fantastic, with the perfect balance of sweet and sour flavors.

I tried the Roast Lamb, which I believe is offered every Sunday evening, and it was absolutely fantastic! The meal was served hot, and the selection of vegetables was impressive. The staff greeted us warmly upon arrival, and the ambiance of the place was cozy and welcoming. The homemade apricot shortcake was delightful, and the coffee was excellent. Overall, I give Brickhouse a perfect 10 out of 10. I will definitely be returning!

The decor is lovely, and there are plenty of seating options to enjoy your meals. It’s also child-friendly; I celebrated my 30th birthday here three years ago, and my niece and nephews had a great time playing and having fun. Plus, they offer the option to order half-size meals since the portions are quite large, which is fantastic, and there's an entire kids' menu as well.

I had the roast of the day, which was pork. It was great. Others in our group had scallops, chicken salad, chicken burger and cheese bacon butty. Everyone was happy with their meals. Wait was minimal and good spacing between courses. Food was well presented with a home cooked feel. Fantastic flavors and well proportioned. Very well priced.
