While it offers a solid range of beers and typical pub fare, reviews highlight a divide in customer service experiences. Many patrons appreciate the friendly bar staff and inviting ambiance, especially the unique seating area in the converted bar. However, some have encountered issues with rude service, pricing discrepancies, and disorganized reservations, which tarnish its charm. Despite these criticisms, The Falcon remains a convenient and lively spot for drinks and casual dining, particularly for those catching up with friends before heading out.
This pub is an icon that has been sitting on this corner for many years. Rocking Guitar Bar Personal and Austin (not from Texas, Lol) told me my first Corona beer onTap was worth the price. Not bad, but Mexican beer was born in a bottle/canister. Thanks to times there are tables outside (warm wave) and tables around the side well for looking at an area that has changed a lot. I noticed a local that Arding and Hobbs were not bad. He noticed the clock never worked. Now the clock works, but the store doesn't. Pure irony. Lustig der Film Up The Junction was up and will help you see the changes; even the Battersea Power Station ran. In the film, a local real estate agent who rents a posh girl from Chelsea asks: Do you think Battersea will ever regenerate and be lifted? If he could only see the gentrification of Northcott Road.
I should follow this right and start by saying while I recently decided to see some old haunts, one of them is this beautiful old pub... My friends and I would always stop here for one or two beers in the middle of the 1980s before we travel to a soul, we use to participate in the Junction. I had actually inserted my car for a service in VW and decided to walk down and enjoy a pint while the car was looked at, and this beautiful old pub caught my eye....chasing ghosts some might say.. The staff was very friendly and the bite I had to eat was nice, it is great to see places like this still open.
Great, historic pub. Very good selection of beer (not only the usual suspects). Many bar employees so fast service. Was pretty quiet for a Friday, so hope it's OK post-Covid?
Good pub near Clapham Junction Station. Food was typical pub food, but good. There early on a Saturday night and there was room, although it can be pretty busy before and after football and rugby games during the season.
Decent pub. Good range of drinks. Visited today for a drink with a friend. There’s a set of tables outside and despite the traffic noise was very pleasant.
