Contribute FeedbackThe King's Head, a popular local pub, offers a mixed dining experience, appealing for its friendly service and reasonably priced meals. While many patrons praise the excellent value of the food, such as the delicious lasagne and generous garlic bread, others express disappointment over the quality of certain dishes, noting issues like dry fish and excessive batter. The bar service is commendable, yet some customers find drink prices steep compared to supermarket alternatives. Despite occasional noise and cleanliness concerns, the establishment is often hailed for its welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff, making it a frequent choice for family gatherings and casual meals.
The food and service at this restaurant were both good. However, I was surprised by the price of the drinks. While I don't expect to pay supermarket prices, paying £4.50 for a 275ml bottle of low-alcohol lager that I can buy for 85p at Sainsbury's seems excessive.
A beautiful garden in the sunlight, peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of the main road. A great place to experience a variety of different flavors.
