What BashkimA18 doesn't like about Cyprus Meze Bar Restaurant:
This was truly the worst experience of my life. The staff were terrible and the food was even worst. We did not get a menue and were told that it was a set menue for the night after the starter was seved. There were only 3 tables with customers including us, we waited over 1 hour and 30 min for the main course and wish we had left. Once the main arrived it was cold and I would not call it a main. The starters were amazing and delicious, but it would be more hygienic to serve each customer their own plate of starters instead of having a communal platter where people could potentially put their fingers in. The food was tasty, but the plates were too small and food kept falling off. It would be better to invest in larger plates. Additionally, the heaters were not working, and it was cold inside the restaurant. Some of us couldn't even take our coats off until two hours later. We were also disappointed to see kids running around, especially since we had gone out for an evening without children present. When asked, we were informed that they were the musician's children, but we felt it was out of control. The management should consider not allowing children on the premises after 9 pm when alcohol is being served. Despite these issues, the restaurant is lovely and we hope to see improvements if we choose to return. Six of us were dining together.
The restaurant has unique decor and wall art. The staff is friendly and attentive. The live music featuring Kader Ates singing and Naci Göcen playing the violin was exceptional. Both musicians are highly regarded within the Turkish community. The Meze served was delicious and the in-between snacks were also tasty. A great place to spend a weekend night out.

There were only 3 tables with customers including us, we waited over 1 hour and 30 min for the main course and wish we had left. Once the main arrived it was cold and I would not call it a main. Three small pieces of meat, some rice and something that looked like salad. When it came to paying the bill the card machine was conveniently not working. So was advised to go to tesco for the money which was at least a 30 min walk. Think this place needs to be investigated. Please do not go!!!
All of the negative reviews are accurate – steer clear of this place if you want to avoid disappointment. The staff was extremely rude, and every time they hurried past our table, the floor shook as if it were a 6.2 earthquake. Definitely avoid this place.
I went to Cyprus Meze Bar with my family where the place was buzzing! The food was great and tasty and the service was excellent!! The entertainment was great with some great singing and dancing. The food is not that expensive neither. I would definitely recommend this place if you fancy a taste of the Turkish experience. The restaurant has reopened recently so ignore the bad reviews and give it a try! You'll not be disappointed
