The Federal - Waltham

All around great experience. The bartenders are very helpful at recommending interesting drink options. The food was great! Steaks are Prime Cut, cooked perfectly and delicious. Two in our group got seafood and loved their dishes (halibut and haddock). Appetizers and dessert both excellent as well.

Great service and delicious food! They played good music, but it didn’t match the ambience of the restaurant.

A little loud if you care about that but the food and service were exceptional!

Have eaten here quite a few times and never fails to impress me! The new seasonal Rabbit entree was amazing, as was the Colorado Style Lamb Chops! Can’t go wrong with any of the appetizers, although the Shrimp Skewers and the Beef Carpaccio is outstanding… Wine selection is wide ranging and ample, if you don’t decide to try one of their craft cocktails, personally, I do both! Cookie butter Crème Brûlée is better than advertised, but I’m always a sucker for their Ricotta Cheesecake, which at moment is the Cinnamon Bun Cheesecake. All deserts are made in house and exceptional. Ambiance is great as is the service and staff… Highly recommended if you haven’t been before, it’s a classic throwback spot.

Wonderful place to spend Easter dinner. The stag and food were excellent.
