The ground floor restaurant was packed, and we were kindly offered a table on the first floor. The elderly lady/waitress was so unfriendly and completely unsuitable for serving. No please, no thank you. Even when we asked what kind of spritzer they had, she answered with a groan and the remark, I already listed that at the front of the table. The currywurst/butcher 's quality with homemade curry sauce was abysmal. The sauce was ice cold and not good. The fries were so-so. Apart from the cake, everything was awful. The Bike Team Frickhofen clearly does not recommend this place...

This time I liked the deer with tender goulash meat, very good sauce and bread dumplings with some cranberries. The cuisine is predominantly local with a few forays into international cuisine. Structurally you can see how the restaurant has grown over time. Last summer I also learned to really appreciate the guest garden under the old chestnut trees.
