Pub is traditional and comfortable, staff were lovel... read more I went here last night to get away from the over priced average food at the village hotel I was staying at. Pub is traditional and comfortable, staff were lovely and full of smiles. Food was excellent, big portions, home made and everything I ate was spot on. Meat just fell off the ribs, home made southern fried coating on well cooked chicken. Loads of dessert option, homemade sponges and cheesecakes. I had an excellent lemon drizzle. Well priced too, I only felt terrible as I didn't have any cash to tip my waitress, and wished there was a gratuity option on the contactless payment, which she fully deserved. Next time I'm in I will make up for it!
