We were... read more My partner and I visited this restaurant over the weekend after hearing about its renovation. Unfortunately, our experience was less than satisfactory. We were ignored multiple times at the bar while trying to confirm our booking, and our table was not ready despite having made a reservation. The lack of staff caused a queue to form, which made the wait even longer. Once we were finally seated, the service was slow and we had to wait 15 minutes before our order was taken. The food was decent and reasonably priced, but the overall experience was marred by a clear lack of staff which led to poor service. The biggest issue, however, was the state of the restrooms. Both ladies' toilets were unusable, filled to the brim and leaking. Despite bringing this to the attention of the staff, we were told to wait and were not given a satisfactory solution. The lack of hygiene and customer care was concerning, prompting us to leave without finishing our meal. The lack of apology for the restroom conditions and the overall subpar service left us disappointed. We will not be returning to this establishment, as there are better options nearby.

There was no apology for the delay, and when we asked about it, we were simply told it was on its way. After finally receiving our starters, we then waited another 40 minutes for our main course, still without any apology. It seemed like they were prioritizing takeaways as they were going out quickly. We waited a total of 3 hours, which was disappointing. I was already hesitant to visit due to the low hygiene rating of 1, and I regretted going as the service was shocking. When we complained while paying the bill, they didn't seem bothered at all. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
