Ginjo - Walpole
Ginjo
Description
Nestled in Walpole Center, this restaurant offers a diverse menu featuring Japanese and Chinese cuisine, including enticing sushi and hibachi dishes. While many patrons praise the excellent quality of the food, particularly the fresh sushi and generous portions, some have experienced significant customer service issues, particularly with delivery and order accuracy. The atmosphere is described as needing upkeep, though it benefits from ample parking. Overall, it's a mixed bag, with some customers swearing by the lunch specials and friendly staff, while others are deterred by frustrating service experiences. Whether for dine-in or takeout, the experience seems to vary widely.

I really enjoy their food! It’s usually served hot and fresh. Occasionally, the chicken isn't as great, but it's still tasty.
I'm updating my review to continue supporting this local business! I've placed several pickup orders recently, and I've noticed that ordering over the phone is a bit cheaper than ordering online. I'm also puzzled as to why Uber Eats doesn't include the lunch special menu options, as they are such a fantastic deal! Your entree comes with rice, soup, and an appetizer. On Mondays and Wednesdays, the appetizer is usually crab Rangoon, while on Tuesdays, it's typically sweet and sour chicken. I appreciate that they open early at 11 AM. Generally, you can expect to wait about 20 minutes for pickup orders. There's plenty of parking available in the strip mall, too. The staff members are always friendly and welcoming! Sometimes, they send out coupons in the mail, so keep an eye out for those as well!
The food here was excellent. We had been once before years ago and can't really remember why we hadn't been back. We had the food delivered and it was hot when it arrived and was in less time than they said which is great. The delivery person was very polite. The food was fresh and delicious. This is our new spot for sushi and Chinese food. The general gau's chicken was the best we have had anywhere. The fried rice, dumplings, beef teriyaki, hot and sour soup were all excellent. The crab rangoons were stuffed to the gills and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Very large portion's, however customer service can be a bit standoffish . Didn't give me a welcoming feel , however food was good
