Description

Running Chick is a cozy, hole-in-the-wall spot known for Korean-style fried chicken—especially lemon-pepper and soy-garlic wings that are crisp outside and juicy inside. Generous bento boxes, fries, pickles and a stamp-card loyalty program make it great value for students and casual diners. Staff are friendly and efficient with upbeat music for a lively vibe, and large orders are handled quickly. Expect tasty wings overall but occasional inconsistency (some pieces can be soggier) and mixed professionalism at times.

Running chick's has some of the most open and warm staff as well as wonderful food that's always made fresh and hot. If I honestly could, I'd eat it more often but my waist honestly can't take it

We called in early to place a big order and they had everything ready within 25 minutes. The workers were efficient and nice. A positive experience. Though, I personally prefer going to the Monterey Park location since they are usually consistent with the quality of the chicken and the chicken here was a little soggier than what we are used to.

Fried chicken is solid. Lemon pepper is my favorite. If you check in on Yelp, you get one free wing with any wing purchase.

My wife and I went here today for our first time. Loved it! We both got the chicken bento box before reading about how much food they give you. We both could have shared one, but we now have dinner for tomorrow. They give 4 small pickled items, which I love. I think it's a good value for what you get. We'll be back soon.
