This place has great breakfast (they even serve breakfast all day). On weekend most of the breakfast item will be sold out after 12pm. Dinner is okay... with Japanese and Taiwanese food available. But I think the best thing is the soy milk for breakfast. View all feedback.
Good little family owner arrived that I think the owner could have been sitting with us, I could hear him that he told the waitress to visit us when we needed something. We really liked and welcomed. The guys at the Sushi Bar are super funny too great!
I'd appreciate here better tempura. What they had was a very strange version that didn't really seem like any attention was paid to the taste. I don't know. Maybe it's just a different style. Ok? But what I had was not very, what would you say delicious? Nevertheless their sushi was fair and their staff were very polite so I still have to give this place stars because I think they feed me good, just not done with improvements on their menu items. I have hippie friends that would like vegetarian food selection please. I have hope how this place will get better . not too late!

New Japanese restaurant that replaced Akasaka. I came here two days in a row and has very different experiences on each day, so I'll split up my comments into both days. Day 1: I came around 8PM and missed the Happy Hour, but they gave us 15% off a deal that ends on 5/7 . Food- I ordered a Chirashi bowl $15 and a spicy tuna tar tar. The tar tar was delicious! The chirashi bowl was interesting.. I expected more salmon pieces but received more tuna than anything. There was only 1 salmon piece that was half of the regular piece. The bowl looked way too big for the fish. Anyway, the sashimi was pretty good quality. The seaweed salad it came with was so little, I was a quite disappointed. The only issues were that 2 of the bento box with 3 items came 20 minutes before my chirashi bowl. You'd think sashimi would be really fast to come out but I guess not... Another thing was the music was quite loud and it didn't really fit the restaurant vibe. Oh and for a Japanese restaurant, I'd expect soy sauce plates already provided but we had to ask for that which was also separated from the wasabi . It was quite strange. Day 2: We came here for Happy Hour this time! The beers and sake were $2 Asahi and Sapporo and the sushi rolls were BOGO. Food- We ordered seared toro roll and a lobster roll. The lobster roll was baked and delicious and the seared toro was amazing! Would totally recommend both of them. We then ordered bento boxes with 3 items. It's such a good price for unagi, sashimi, and beef teriyaki. They also provide you salad, miso soup, and an orange! The portions are LARGE, we were able to take most of it to go. Overall, totally would recommend, come during happy hour, take advantage of the bento box. Day 3: Shout out to Daniel for hooking it up with my very picky order : PS- Iced green tea is tasty!
I tried the $40 Omakase to experience their best offerings. The fresh set included 8 pieces, precisely as requested—neither more nor less. The overall food quality was good. While it wasn't a life-changing meal, the servers were attentive and friendly. Next time, I think I'll opt for the Chirashi.
