This is a lovely wine bar located in downtown Walnut Creek. I visited on Saturday night during the Labor Day weekend, and the place wasn't too crowded. The service was outstanding, and the staff demonstrated impressive knowledge of the wine selection. The small bites offered include gourmet cheeses, paninis, and pulled pork sliders. We stopped by for a glass of wine after dinner and had a pretty good experience. The service was excellent, and the wine we tried was enjoyable. However, the venue feels more like a bar that offers wine rather than a true wine bar. This restaurant offers an excellent variety of wines. The price per person ranges from $50 to $100. I would rate the food a perfect 5, the service also a 5, and the atmosphere another 5.
Very disappointing. Got the avocado bruschetta, and the avocado was totally brown. I can't believe they brought it out of the kitchen looking like that. Pulled pork sliders were dry, and the beet salad was tasteless. Nobody came to check on us or asked us if we wanted more drinks. Server picked a napkin up off the floor and put it on the table next to my plate. Disgusting! Price per person: $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

I had a wonderful dining experience! The prices per person were reasonable, falling between $30 and $50. The service was outstanding, earning a perfect 5 stars, and the atmosphere was equally impressive, also rated 5 stars. I highly recommend trying the Pinot Noir—it was exceptional!
