We enjoyed a wonderful Valentine's Day dinner on February 14, 2020. However, I was a bit let down by the churros dessert, which tasted stale and was not sweet enough. On the bright side, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Jamie stood out by kindly preparing a fresh meal for our daughter after her fish was served burnt. Thank you for a memorable evening!
Overall, it’s a charming local pub. My only concern is that occasionally, they charge me $3 to add a small amount of gravy to one of the kids' meals since my daughter doesn’t like sauces. This seems a bit excessive, especially considering that the gravy costs almost half of the price of the entire kids' meal! I wouldn’t mind a small charge of 50 cents or $1, but when we usually spend $80-$100 on food and drinks for our family of four, it would be nice if they could just include some gravy with the kids' grilled sausage!
I dropped by to see if lunch was still being served and ended up staying for hours. The food was fantastic! Our bill for four came to just $50, which is incredible. The portion sizes were huge. The interior was lovely, complete with a cozy fireplace. As we were leaving, the owner personally thanked our entire group for our support, which was a nice touch. We'll definitely be returning; I didn't actually want to leave. Thank you to the entire team!
