My family has been here for 30 years for holidays and special occasions. Although it's a bit expensive. It's worth it. They have a very talented cook that takes extra Ssu in his preparation. There was never a disappointment. The owners live on site and remember their customers with names. Your personality welcomes everyone at the door. This is a good place. It's strangely comfortable, like being in a grandma's house. It's not rushed, it's not fancy in a classic sense. The food is delicious and well prepared, but there is nothing innovative. The wine list and beer selection isn't so great (the only real flaw, I guess), but I don't think it's trying to be that. This is a comfort food place, and it does it well. Don't be in a rush, you won't get to eat the baked brie in phyllo!
The food is absolutely amazing and delicious!! Very quaint and cool atmosphere. The staff is always top notch and so friendly. Highly recommend!
Staff is always pleasant and the hostess always remembers our names! The filet mignon with the red wine reduction sauce is spectacular! We go there for most family events and everyone has always enjoyed their food! The only reason I'm giving it 4 is because the last time we were there it took about a hour and a half to get out food. That has never happened before. The wait staff was fabulous though!
Totally blew my mind. The decor is so country and warm. The food is ridiculous. The prime rib is so amazing. The staff is most definitely the nicest I've ever met. I wish I could transplant this place next door. Do yourself a favor and make the trip, you won't be disappointed.
