Tasty brunch- got the tacos, breakfast burger, and flatbread. Sort of felt like we were a bother to the waitress not sure why- we are not a difficult group.. very friendly and flexible. Enjoyed the owners conversation with us about the random Emmy displayed in the corner of the room. Food and drink was good- really just thrown off by these service. Not sure if our server was having a rough day.. ?? View all feedback.
What Bryan Viger doesn't like about Tap Vine:
Food was good, but service was extremely slow. To thier credit, they did mention they only had 1 server, but still not good enough to warrant a higher rating. Beer selection was, eh. View all feedback.
Just not good. At all. Very overpriced for what it is.I wanted to give it something positive but food, service and drinks were a no for us.
Because Tap Vine is in Downtown Wallingford and I'm usually Uptown I tend to forget about it. But when I do remember, I am rewarded with tasty craft cocktails and well made small plates that are perfect for sharing. The outdoor patio was terrific on a June Friday evening. The calamari was spicy sweet, and the cheesesteak eggrolls tasted house made; both were delicious. My wife swears that the Field of Dreams gin, St. Germain, lavender and cucumber served in a coupe glass is the best cocktail in Wallingford!
They have a great craft beer menu but a smaller food menu. Service was lacking as our waitress was not around our table much to reorder a drink on a slower night. The food was tasty. If looking for a big full dinner not here but they have a lot of smaller plates and burgers.
I had the opportunity to Dine at Tap and Vine this past Saturday with my Niece. She’d been to this establishment a few times and it was my first. First, Our Bartender Joe was amazing. I’m a big fan of Dirty Martinis with Blue Cheese Olives. However, Joe informed me that they didn’t have any Blue Cheese Olives but since it was slow he would stuff them for me. I’m so easy to please. After the first sip I had to compliment Joe and tell him that Martini ranked in my Top 3. Second, My entree was a baby arugula salad with a perfectly seasoned piece of Salmon. It was good. And, I had another Dirty Martini after my dinner for desert…. Thanks again Joe for the great conversation!!!! I’ll be back
