True traditional Vermont comfort. When my husband and I walked in for breakfast, there was a group of regulars sitting at the counter. Several turned around and said hello with a smile. We sat at a table by the window and enjoyed a freshly prepared breakfast. Very good. Would definitely return. View all feedback.
What Diane L doesn't like about Mom's Country Kitchen:
Cute little place in Wallingford. Decor defiantly could use an update. It was like eating in someone's house. It is small. The waitress was very friendly, but not to attentive. Food was good. Bacon was cooked crispy. Home fries were delious. I had the egg sandwich, just wished my yolk was less cooked. My husband liked his omelette, but found the side of has he got was too dry. The kids both liked their scrambled eggs... View all feedback.
Charming little spot in Wallingford. The decor definitely needs a refresh; it felt more like dining in someone's home. It's quite cozy. The waitress was very friendly, although not the most attentive. The food was tasty—my bacon was cooked to a perfect crisp, and the home fries were delicious. I had an egg sandwich, but I wished the yolk had been runnier. My husband enjoyed his omelet but thought the hash on the side was a bit too dry. The kids both enjoyed their scrambled eggs.
Delicious food, a bright window seat, and friendly staff. I’ll definitely stop by again for lunch with my partner.
A genuine taste of traditional Vermont comfort. When my husband and I entered for breakfast, we noticed a group of regulars at the counter who kindly greeted us with smiles. We chose a table by the window and savored a delicious, freshly made breakfast. It was excellent, and we would certainly come back again.
The food was decent, but the service was lacking. The restaurant was nearly empty, and we felt largely overlooked. I wouldn't choose to return.
Um, food is inedible here. I ordered eggs poached, one of the eggs was well done. Fries were limp and undercooked. And it's overpriced. Service was terrible. Food took forever to come. Eat at Sal's across the steet. It's much better.
