Bourassa Catering Events - Wallingford

Bourassa Catering did a great job for the 100th Anniversary of UNICO at the Palace Theater in Waterbury in early October. For event patrons just coming inside, the appetizer table with crudité, antipasto and bruschetta had a lot of variety. Waitstaff brought around other apps like BBQ meatballs, chicken skewers and stuffed mushrooms. (The mushrooms were delicious. Wish they'd come by more than once.)Their carving station with roasted pork loin, herb crusted Bistro steak with fresh chimichurri and garlic mashed potatoes had moist flavorful meat and a good texture to their potato side. Their pasta station had two penne dishes with red sauce or pesto. Both were correctly composed. Staff at their stations knew the food they were serving if asked and were polite and professional. Based out of Wallingford they serve a wide area whether an intimate dinner party, large wedding or corporate meeting.

Our best move in planning a 60-person family celebration was choosing Bourassa to cater the event, because they made everything else easy. Great food? Check. Friendly, efficient service? Check. Special requests? No problem. Our event planner, Bianca, has a can-do attitude and was a pleasure to work with. The food was plentiful and so good that many guests went back for seconds and thirds. (We chose a cheese platter for starters, then a bbq menu with extras like shrimp kabobs and fresh corn on the cob. The staff were efficient, friendly, and endlessly accommodating to our guests. When it was time for a toast, champagne flutes appeared as if by magic on every table.We'd interviewed several caterers before making our choice. Bourassa's pricing was reasonable, and our conversation with Bianca assured us that, rather than try to fit our event into a pre-conceived box, they would work with us to personalize the event and make it exactly what we wanted. They delivered everything they promised and more.

I can't say enough how impressed we were with Bourassa Catering at our Sunday event. Bourassa provided catering for a 150-person nonprofit fundraiser that I was working in New Haven. All of their offerings were incredible and plentiful: three varieties of soup, crudité, a hefty cheese platter, and multiple dessert outlay. Many of our guests went back for seconds, thirds, and even fourths!In addition to their food being great, their staff was top notch. They arrived on time and were always accessible by phone leading up to the event. Overall, Bourassa made us look good and our lives easy.We will definitely be working with them again.

Bourassa was incredible! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our wedding caterer. Bianca was a pleasure to work with. She was easy to get in touch with and so kind. All of the food was delicious! We were receiving compliments all night long. Our captain Delores was amazing the day of our event. She made sure to check in with us multiple times throughout the night. Our event manager Catherine was an absolute joy! She went above and beyond to make sure we were having the best time with the biggest smile on her face. Our drinks were always suddenly magically full : We highly recommend using them for your event!!

Bourassa was the best choice we made early on for our wedding. Bianca was an absolute dream to work at, so good at her job and so caring and enthusiastic. We had calls with a handful of other caterers and Bourassa was by far the best in terms of responsiveness, kindness, options, and pricing.In terms of planning, I couldn't have loved working with their team more and each call/email/meeting had us more excited for the big day.The food was incredible, a bountiful mezze spread, an abundance of passed apps that were hot and fresh, and dinner service that was flawless. They even took care of details for us with outside dessert, moving for rain on the big day, and ensuring everything went smooth with other vendors.Could not recommend working with their team more- Thank you Bianca and Bob for making our day amazing!!
