Description

Nestled alongside a gas station, this barbecue spot offers a mixed yet memorable dining experience. Highlights include their gigantic, fully loaded baked potatoes and tender ribs and brisket, paired with flavorful sides like green beans and baked beans. The menu is diverse, featuring sandwiches and homemade desserts that many rave about. However, quality can be inconsistent—sandwich portions and meat flavor sometimes vary, with occasional reports of dryness or subpar BBQ sauce. The atmosphere is casual but marred by poorly maintained restrooms, which detracts from the overall experience. Still, generous parking and friendly service make it a worthwhile stop for barbecue enthusiasts.

Got the two meats- brisket and turkey with baked beans and pot salad. And a side of pinto beans. Served with no bbq sauce or bread as normal. The onions were diced instead of sliced as to what you typically expect. The brisket was good! Would have been nice to have bbq sauce to dip in. Turkey was ok- not a lot of smoke flavor. The pot salad was a major pass. Mushy, over sugared and none of these traditional additions in southern potato salad. Baked beans were over sugared and no flavor. Pinto beans had way too much garlic. There’s too many good bbq joint in Texas for this to be one to frequent. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
