What Anonym dislikes about Weeroona:
The meals were delightful! I had the grilled whiting, which was juicy and flavorful. The salads were fresh and just as delicious. They also serve hot dinners, which were definitely worth every penny. The dining room and bar staff were very friendly. My partner ordered the seafood basket, while my mother had the whiting. I regret that we couldn't finish everything! View all feedback.

This pub sold good meals several years ago but now they are pathetic. The last 2 times I have eaten there the meals were terrible. Never again.
Came to this pub as tourists. Not ever being here before. We were polite, pleasant and dressed nicely. Did not know it had 3 little rooms for dining. Not very welcoming front of house old biddy. She was very dismissive. No explanations as to where to go to eat as we walked into the front bar, had to ask the locals who were really nice. The two young waitresses were lovely and polite. One meal the was horrid, so fatty as to be unedible. Left it, ate the vegetables only. The other three meals were okay. We went up to get more drinks and the old biddy was still quite dismissive and rude. Spent the rest of our money for food and drinks elsewhere. Where the publicans were more welcoming.
Lovely lady at the bar!! And the fooood...mate... It's sooo great! We had the schnitzels with different deli sauces each!! Yum yum!!

Nestled in the heart of Wallaroo, this charming pub strikes a balance between classic ambiance and modern hospitality. Visitors rave about the generously portioned, delicious meals, prominently featuring dishes like marinated kangaroo and seafood baskets. The friendly, attentive staff create a welcoming atmosphere, making it a favorite among locals and tourists alike. While some guests have experienced inconsistent service, particularly from front-of-house staff, the overall dining experience is often highlighted by outstanding food quality and reasonable prices. Whether you're stopping in for a casual meal or a hearty lunch, this pub promises to satisfy your culinary cravings.

Historical hotel in Wallaroo. Food is the big draw here. It's on the excellent scale for pubs. Large serves with fresh and tasty sides. Cooked to perfection and served by pleasant and friendly staff. My slight detraction is there is zero craft beer and a limited white wine selection. Exterior could do with some tlc. Interior is quaint and retains a lot of it historical character. Well worth a visit if your on the northern Yorke Peninsula. Recommended. Cheers, Q.
Made to feel very welcome. Oldest pub on the peninsula. LeeAnneis a good diamond. Made me feel comfortable.

The restaurant boasts a fantastic old-fashioned pub ambiance, complemented by friendly and attentive dining room staff and excellent food at affordable prices. I thoroughly enjoyed the Ned Kelly Parmigiana, which came with a generous serving of chips and vegetables—it was both delicious and massive! My wife's grilled fish, served with chips and veggies, was equally impressive. Plus, you won't break the bank when ordering a decent bottle of wine. Highly recommended!
We just had the most beautiful lunch here. I had the marinated kangaroo. OMG! It was divine! My husband had the mixed grill. He really enjoyed that too. There was so much food he couldn’t eat all the chips! The chips looked delicious and the vegetables were lovely. Fresh and tasty. Potato bake, cauliflower cheese and tender carrots and beans. His salad was fresh and plentiful too. But you must try the kangaroo medium rare. Prices were as expected. $21 for the kangaroo and $33 for the mixed grill. We’ll be back. I’d travel from Adelaide just to have the kangaroo again!
What a charming hotel! The staff is friendly and helpful, and there's a wonderful atmosphere reminiscent of a bygone era. The front bar has a lively feel, with a sports section at one end. The gaming room is quite nice, featuring a good selection of current machines. There are two dining areas, and the original staircase adds a lovely touch. The beer and wine selection is impressive, and the food is both reasonably priced and varied. Plus, there’s excellent parking available, and the location is great—on the main street, just a short distance from the waterfront.
